As of 16:00 on November 2, Ukrainian forces have engaged in 95 combat clashes with Russian troops along the front line, the General Staff of Ukraine reported.
Border settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions came under artillery fire from Russian territory. On the Northern and Kursk sectors, Russia conducted five airstrikes and fired 87 artillery barrages. Ukrainian units continue reconnaissance and strike operations, inflicting losses.
Heavy fighting remains concentrated on the Pokrovsk and Oleksandrivka axes. On the Pokrovsk sector alone, Russian forces attempted 38 assaults, most of which were repelled, with Ukrainian troops achieving minor advances of up to 0.4 km in some areas.
Ukrainian defenders also stopped attacks near Vovchansk on the Southern Slobozhansky sector, near Chasiv Yar on the Kramatorsk sector, and near several settlements on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Sloviansk, and Kostyantynivka axes.
No significant changes were reported in other directions.
