The United States has promised to consult with its European partners before the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin scheduled for this Friday.
This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, according to The Guardian.
Tusk added that the importance of preserving the integrity of Ukraine’s territory is not only a matter of solidarity with our neighbor, but also of our own security.
He noted that he has “many fears and many hopes” regarding the meeting between Trump and Putin, noting Trump’s “tactics of unpredictability” at times when it comes to various steps and actions.
Tusk also stressed that parts of Putin’s proposal regarding the territory appear “one-sided.”
