Today Kharkiv celebrates 371 years since its founding and the 82nd anniversary of its liberation from Nazi invaders. For the fourth year in a row, the holiday is taking place under special circumstances – to the sounds of alarms and explosions.

Kharkiv continues to live, work and fight. Each of us is doing our part: soldiers are defending our streets, and Kharkiv residents are supporting them, rebuilding the city, helping those who have suffered, and keeping its spirit unbreakable.

Kharkiv is its people: children, young people, veterans, doctors, teachers, volunteers, rescuers, utility workers, entrepreneurs. Each of them is part of Kharkiv, which proves its resilience and indestructibility every day.

Today, the city celebrates not only historical dates, but also the strength and unity that allows Kharkiv to live and prevail even in the most difficult times. Love for the city and faith in Ukraine make it invincible.

Happy City Day, Kharkiv! Glory to the people of Kharkiv! Glory to Ukraine!
