On the night of October 21, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on the village of Korotych in Kharkiv district. An elderly couple was killed and 11 people, including two children, were affected.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
An 81-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man sustained fatal injuries in the Russian attack. Eleven people suffered acute stress reactions. Among those affected were a two-month-old boy and an eight-year-old girl. All 11 received the necessary medical assistance.
Thirteen private houses and a car were damaged, while an outbuilding was destroyed by fire.
Also on the morning of October 21, a Russian drone struck the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv. No reports of casualties or injuries from that strike had been received.
