During a special event organised by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for honorary consuls of foreign states and Ukrainian ambassadors, experts from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (GUR) demonstrated samples of captured Russian weapons equipped with numerous Western electronic components, which, despite sanctions, continue to be supplied to Russia.
In addition, diplomats were presented with the War\&Sanctions analytical platform, a digital tool for identifying Western components in Russian weapons and combating sanctions evasion.
The portal, specifically in the ‘Components in Weapons’ section, regularly publishes an updated database of electronic components identified by GUR specialists in collaboration with research institutions.
