On the night of July 25, drones attacked a number of regions in Russia. Explosions were heard in the Rostov region, the Stavropol region, and a number of other regions in the North Caucasus Federal District.
In connection with the attacks, the “Kilim” plan was introduced in several cities — airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Stavropol, Nalchik, Mineralnye Vody, Tambov, and Sochi were closed.
According to local residents, a series of explosions were heard in Novocherkassk in the Rostov region and Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol region.
Astra reports that drones attacked the Nevinnomyssk Azot plant, one of the largest producers of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers in Russia.
Mayor Mikhail Minenkov counted 37 strikes on Nevinnomyssk.
This is the second attack on Azot in the last two months. In June, after the previous attack, the plant had already stopped operations.
It is known that the company supplies nitric acid to the Sverdlov Plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where octogen and hexogen are produced — components used in the manufacture of artillery shells.
