An aircraft repair plant in the city of Staraya Russa, Novgorod region of Russia, was reportedly attacked. According to local паблики, a hit was recorded in one of the plant’s workshops.
According to Russian local sources, the facility is “JSC 123 ARZ,” which specializes in servicing transport aircraft for both military and civilian aviation. In particular, the enterprise carries out a full cycle of aircraft repair, including systems and engines, ASTRA reports.
According to паблики, the first workshop of the plant was hit in the attack. It is also claimed that air defense systems allegedly shot down about seven drones.
At the same time, there is currently no official confirmation of this information.
The enterprise “JSC 123 ARZ” is one of the largest in the Novgorod region in terms of state defense orders and the largest employer in the Starorussky district.
