On October 3 and overnight into October 4, the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important Russian military targets. The targets included a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system, a storage and launch site for attack UAVs, an electronic warfare station and telecommunications nodes.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the area of Kuroshany in the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system.
In the Donetsk area, a strike was carried out on a site used to store, prepare and launch enemy attack drones.
The General Staff noted that such facilities are among the priority targets and that their systematic destruction is intended to reduce Russia’s ability to use attack UAVs against Ukraine.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck an enemy electronic warfare station near the town of Klimovo in Russia’s Bryansk region.
Telecommunications nodes used by Russian units were struck in the areas of Hirnyk, Yasynuvata and Donetsk in the Donetsk region.
The Defence Forces also struck Russian repair units in the areas of Vesela Tarasivka and Lysychansk in the Luhansk region.
