On the night of March 23–24, Russian forces carried out a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in several regions, and there are reports of casualties.

On the evening of March 23, Russian UAVs launched a massive attack on the Odesa region. According to Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, one of the drones struck a bus stop in the Odesa district. Two people were injured: an 18-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man. Medical personnel assess their condition as moderate. Transportation and energy infrastructure facilities were also damaged as a result of the attack.
A series of explosions was recorded overnight in Zaporizhzhia, where a fire broke out as a result of the attack. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, one person was killed and five others were injured. Six apartment buildings and two private homes, a store, non-residential buildings, and an industrial infrastructure facility were damaged.
In Poltava, explosions were heard around 2:40 a.m. and again at 2:54 a.m. The attack caused fires in the community and damaged residential buildings and a hotel. According to Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, two people were killed and 11 others were injured.
Explosions were also heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk region this morning. Details regarding the consequences are being clarified.
