During the night of October 31, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the city of Sumy. The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported the attack.

According to Hryhorov, within just one hour Russia sent ten drones targeting civilian infrastructure. Strikes hit a nine-story and a two-story residential building in different parts of the city.

Preliminarily, two civilians — a teenage girl and an elderly woman — were injured and received medical assistance on site. Information about other casualties is being clarified.
