On the morning of October 9, Russian forces carried out six strikes on Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed and five others were injured.
This was reported by acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin.
Russian forces struck residential areas of Zaporizhzhia. One of the strikes hit near a multi-storey residential building. Another struck near an extracurricular education facility.
A man was killed in the attack. A child was among the five people injured.
Emergency services are working at the strike sites.
