Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has called for the destruction of Ukraine’s military and political leadership, calling it the “customer” of the murder of General Igor Kirillov in Moscow.
“We must do everything to destroy the customers of Kirillov’s murder. The customers are known – it is the military and political leadership of Ukraine,” Medvedev said.
Earlier, he said that the murder of the general would be followed by “inevitable retribution” against the Ukrainian leadership.
On the morning of December 17, an explosion occurred on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, killing Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov and his assistant Ilya Polikarpov.
The day before, the SBU notified Kirilov of a war crime suspicion. According to the investigation, he ordered the use of banned chemical weapons against the Ukrainian military – 4,800 documented cases alone since the start of the full-scale invasion.
