In his post, Sybiha called the Hungarian prime minister “Russia’s most valuable frozen asset in Europe,” hinting at his pro-Russian policy.
Sybiha’s comment was a response to Orbán’s remarks in which the Hungarian prime minister accused Brussels of bypassing Hungary and violating European law by attempting to confiscate frozen Russian assets. Orbán also described such actions as a “declaration of war” and said Hungary would not take part in what he called a Brussels-driven scheme.
