Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of key Russian military and infrastructure targets in Russia and in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories. The strikes were aimed at reducing the enemy’s offensive potential and disrupting logistics.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Defense Forces units hit facilities of the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region. Explosions and a large fire were recorded at the site, with the extent of damage still being assessed.
The General Staff also confirmed strikes on the Uryupinsk oil depot in Russia’s Volgograd region, where explosions and a fire were reported.
In addition, strikes were carried out against enemy military targets in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories. In the Donetsk region, a Volna-2 electronic warfare station, two command posts of different units of Russia’s 76th Air Assault Division, another EW station, and an Imbir radar system were hit.
In the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia region, a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system and an enemy drone laboratory were struck.
Moreover, in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied Crimea, Defense Forces hit two fuel storage bases, a Kasta-2E2 radar station, and a high-value component of Russia’s S-300/S-400 air defense systems — the 96L6E radar. The extent of the damage is being уточнений.
The General Staff emphasized that Ukraine’s Defense Forces will continue a comprehensive set of measures aimed at weakening the offensive capabilities of Russian occupation forces and compelling the Russian Federation to end its armed aggression against Ukraine.
