Russia used thousands of drones and hundreds of aerial bombs against Ukraine in just one week. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the intensity of attacks has not decreased and called on the world to act together.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that over the past week Russia launched more than 3,000 attack drones against Ukrainian cities and communities, many of them Shahed-type drones.
According to him, more than 1,450 guided aerial bombs and another 40 missiles of various types were also used.
Zelenskyy stressed that Russian forces are not reducing the intensity of the war against Ukraine and are simultaneously contributing to the prolongation of other conflicts, leading to global destabilization.
He noted that similar attack drones are being used by Russia against countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region, while ballistic missiles are used in the same way against Ukraine’s partners.
The president emphasized that destabilization of global markets and the blocking of maritime routes affect all countries, and called for decisive and coordinated actions to protect lives and end wars.
In particular, this includes building joint modern defense systems, developing weapons production, and uniting efforts to ensure security in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions of the world.
Zelenskyy thanked all partners who are helping Ukraine protect lives.
