Ukrainian unmanned forces struck the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, which was used by occupying forces. As a result of the attack, the enterprise stopped its operations.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to the SBU, officers of the 3rd Directorate of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, together with units of the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, struck the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant for the second time in a month.
It is noted that the enterprise is one of the key industrial facilities used by the occupiers to support military production. Its products are supplied to the Russian plant “Uralvagonzavod,” where military equipment is produced, including T-90M “Proryv” tanks and “Msta-S” howitzers.
After identifying critical production facilities, they were targeted by FP-2 drones from the company “Fire Point.”
As a result of the strike, blast furnaces, key production workshops, distillation columns, gas pipelines, and electrical substations that ensure the operation of the plant were damaged. Due to the damage inflicted, the plant ceased operations.
