On the night of February 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of strategic targets of the Russian invaders in the Krasnodar Territory and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the Saki and Kacha airfields, as well as the Tuapse oil refinery, were hit.
“The Tuapse refinery processes oil at a declared capacity of 12 million tons per year. More than 90% of its oil products are exported. The enterprise is also actively involved in supplying the Russian occupation army,” the General Staff writes.
At least 40 explosions were recorded in the area of the refinery. There is information about damage to the plant’s infrastructure.
