Fifty Attacks on Pokrovsk Direction and Pause in Assaults on Kupiansk: General Staff Reports

he 1101st day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has passed. From February 27 to February 28, 128 combat engagements were recorded at the front.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched one missile and 91 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 128 unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, the enemy carried out more than five thousand attacks, including 162 from multiple launch rocket systems, and also used 2,865 kamikaze drones to defeat them.

The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:

• Krasnopillia, Sumy region;
• Halahanivka, Chernihiv region;
• Ryasne, Slatyn, Doroshivka in Kharkiv region;
• Siversk, Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Oleksiyivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Zvirove, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Hrodivka, Nadiivka, Horikhove, Novopil in Donetsk region;
• Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Huliaypole, Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia region;
• Tyahynka, Prydniprovske, Tarasivka, Ingulets in Kherson region.

Kharkiv, Lyman and Siversk directions

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried six times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders towards Vovchansk and Kindrashivka.

In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked six times. He tried to break into the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense near Yampolivka, Torske, Zelena Dolyna and Kolodyazi.

In the Northern sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled two enemy attacks near Bilohorivka.

Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors

In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked twice in the areas of Vasyukivka and Predtechyno.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the areas of Krymske and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 49 aggressor’s attacks towards Berezivka, Myrne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Zaporizhzhia, Andriivka, Pishchane, Myrolyubivka and Bohdanivka.

Novopavlivsk, Huliaipil, Kursk and other directions

In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Novopil, Novodarivka, Skudne and Burlatske yesterday.

In the Huliaipil sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions six times in the vicinity of Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces nine times in the areas of Stepove, Pyatikhatky and Kamianske.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

In the Kupyansk and Prydniprovsky sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions yesterday.

Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Yesterday, the enemy carried out 16 air strikes, downing 28 UAVs, and fired 405 times, including 15 times from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 assault attacks by the invaders.
