President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that at least 83 people were injured and there were fatalities as a result of Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine. According to him, Kyiv was the main target of the strike.

The president said that rescuers, medics and all necessary emergency services have been working at the attack sites since the night.

“Everyone injured in this strike will receive assistance. This is our duty, and the state will fulfill it,” Zelenskyy stressed.

According to the president, Russia launched 90 missiles of various types at Ukraine, including 36 ballistic missiles, as well as 600 drones. He noted that not all ballistic missiles were intercepted.

“The largest number of strikes hit Kyiv, and Kyiv was the main target of this Russian attack,” the head of state said.

Zelenskyy also stated that Russian forces used an “Oreshnik” missile against Bila Tserkva.

“Putin can no longer even properly pronounce the word ‘hurrah’ — he mumbles — yet he still defeats residential buildings with his missiles. Three Russian missiles against a water supply facility, a burned market, dozens of damaged residential buildings, several ordinary schools. He launched his ‘Oreshnik’ against Bila Tserkva. They are truly inadequate,” the president said.

He called on international partners to continue supporting Ukraine.

“Decisions are needed from the United States of America, from Europe, and from others, so that this old ‘Oreshnik’ in Moscow says the word ‘peace’,” Zelenskyy said.
