As of 16:00 on 22 February, 54 combat engagements took place at the frontline. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russians attacked four times near Vovchansk, Figolivka and Zakhidne, and one firefight is ongoing. In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy tried to advance near Zahryzove but failed.
Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the Liman sector and the same number of attacks near Bilohorivka in the Siversky sector. In the Kramatorsk sector, six attacks were repelled in the areas of Vasyukivka, Stupochky and Bila Hora.
Three firefights continued in the Toretsk sector, with a total of seven hostile attacks registered over the last day. Kostiantynivka came under an air strike.
The situation was the most tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where the occupants made 23 attempts to storm the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian defence forces repelled 21 attacks, and two more battles are ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked four times near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske, and Novopavlivka came under attack.
Ukrainian defenders are holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
