Drones tried to attack Russia’s largest port in the Leningrad Region

Drones tried to attack the Ust-Luga commercial sea port in the Leningrad Region today, ASTRA reports.

According to sources, most of the drones were shot down over the territory of the port, in particular over the terminal of Novatrans LLC. As a result of the attack, tentatively, the windows of one of the buildings on the territory of the facility were damaged.

Earlier, the governor of the Leningrad region reported four drones shot down and said that there were no casualties or significant damage.

Reference: the Ust-Luga commercial seaport began operations in December 2001 with the opening of a coal terminal. At the beginning of the 2020s it became Russia’s second largest port, second only to Novorossiysk.
