Light sleet and rain are expected on the night of Monday, 6 January, in the western regions and throughout Ukraine during the day, according to the Ukrainian Weather Service.
On the roads of the country, except in the south, there will be ice in some places. The wind will be south, 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the western, afternoon and southern regions.
Temperatures at night will be 3-8° below zero; during the day from 1° below zero to 4° above zero, in the Carpathian region, Crimea and most southern regions 4-9° above zero.
In Kyiv, on 6 January, no precipitation at night, light sleet and rain during the day. South wind, 7-12 m/s. The temperature will be 4-6° below zero at night and 0-2° above zero during the day.
On Tuesday, January 7, there will be no precipitation in Ukraine, only in the eastern and northeastern regions there will be light wet snow at night. On the roads of the country, except in the south, there is icy conditions in some places. The wind will be south, south-west, 7-12 m/s.
Temperatures at night will be from 4° C to 1° C; during the day 4-9° C, in the southern regions and in the Carpathian region 7-12°. In the Carpathians, there will be no precipitation, the temperature will be 0-5° Celsius.
