During the night of September 28, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones. The strikes left four people injured, with hits and fires reported in several districts of the capital.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In the Podilskyi district, a non-residential building was damaged, a fire broke out, and part of the roof was destroyed. During a repeated strike, the blast wave damaged windows in a nearby residential building.
Three people were injured in this district. Two 15-year-old teenagers — a boy and a girl — received medical assistance at the scene, while a 17-year-old boy was hospitalized.
In the Holosiivskyi district, according to the State Emergency Service, a UAV struck a private two-story residential building. One person was injured. Earlier, Klitschko also reported that a drone hit a café near a gas station in this district.
In the Obolonskyi district, a UAV strike damaged gas station pumps and caused a fire.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone hit an office building. According to the State Emergency Service, fires in office buildings were also reported in the Pecherskyi district.
In the Darnytskyi district, debris from a downed UAV caused a fire in an open area.
Emergency services are working at the strike sites and eliminating the consequences of the attack.
