President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that ending or reducing aid to Ukraine is a risky scenario that “should not be tested.” He said that if a mistake is made, the price could be too high for Europe, and Russia could continue its aggression.
In an interview with Czech Radio, Zelenskyy commented on discussions about support for Ukraine and emphasized that Ukraine is holding Russia back, and that attempting to “test” a different approach without aid could have dangerous consequences.
He also expressed the view that supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do from both a security and a moral standpoint, and that the only question is the amount of assistance that partners are able to provide.
