President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law that provides for sanctions against sea and air vessels involved in the illegal transportation of Russian oil, oil products, weapons and military personnel.
This is stated in the card of bill No. 13020.
Bill No. 13020 amends the law “On Sanctions” and provides for restrictions for vessels that pose threats to the national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The SBU and intelligence will be responsible for identifying and recording such violations. Data on all objects subject to sanctions must be entered into the State Register of Sanctions. The Verkhovna Rada adopted this law on July 16, 2025.
