President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned of the threat of another massive Russian strike on Ukraine.

He said this while speaking to the media together with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has relevant data on Russia’s preparations for a massive attack. The president said he would return to Ukraine after speaking with journalists.

Zelensky urged Ukrainians to be especially careful today, to protect themselves, their families and children, to use shelters and to respond to air raid alerts.

“We know that Putin has been preparing a massive strike on Ukraine for some time. Tonight, this is exactly the threat,” the president said.

He also stressed that Russia’s leader refuses to end the war.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine has conveyed through all possible official and unofficial channels, including through people close to Putin, that the war can and must be ended, and that Kyiv is ready for meetings and substantive negotiations.

The president said Putin sees only further aggression against Ukraine, other neighbors and Europe as a whole.
