President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on the Poltavska oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar region and two oil refineries in Ufa. He made the statement while commenting on Ukraine’s long-range operations.

According to the president, Ukraine’s long-range strikes are “consistent and precise responses” to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities.

Zelenskyy said that overnight, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Poltavska oil depot in the Krasnodar region. The target is located about 300 kilometers from the front line.

In the morning, according to the president, the SBU hit two oil refineries in Ufa — Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim and Bashneft-Novoil.

Zelenskyy noted that these facilities are located roughly 1,500 kilometers from the front line.

“We are carrying out the plan of our long-range sanctions. I thank all Ukrainian warriors who ensure our accuracy,” the president said.

He stressed that Russia should think about “real diplomacy” instead of trying to deceive someone again or buy time.

“The war must be ended,” Zelenskyy said.
