Zelensky: Russia carried out more than 1,020 drone attacks and dropped almost 1,360 bombs in a week

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the past week, Russia has carried out massive attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities. He made the announcement on social media.

According to the head of state, Chernihiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Poltava, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions were attacked. The enemy launched more than 1,020 attack drones, nearly 1,360 guided aerial bombs and fired more than 10 missiles of various types.

‘This is definitely not the behaviour of those who want the war to end as soon as possible,’ Zelenskyy stressed.

The President called on the international community to take decisive action to force Russia to stop its aggression. He stressed that sanctions should not only be maintained but also constantly strengthened.

‘Ukraine, Europe, America and everyone in the world who wants peace – together we can ensure a just and lasting peace,’ Zelenskyy concluded.
