President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Ukraine’s active negotiations with international partners. A meeting between the diplomatic teams of Ukraine and the UK took place in Kyiv, and preparations are underway for discussions in Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian delegation will include diplomats and military officials, such as Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa.
“We will do everything to ensure that Ukraine’s interests are fully taken into account,” Zelensky emphasized.
The president also addressed the consequences of Russia’s attack on Dobropillia, Donetsk region. The strike claimed the lives of 11 people, including a State Emergency Service worker. Another 50 people were injured, among them seven children, the youngest being 10 years old.
Russian forces targeted the city center with missiles and kamikaze drones, destroying residential buildings, shops, and a shopping center. A secondary strike occurred while rescue workers were responding.
There were also other attacks today in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, in our southern regions. In Kherson, there was another attack by FPV drones on civilians. Russia is proving literally every day with its cruelty that nothing has changed for them in Moscow. They are not thinking about how to end the war, but about how to destroy and capture more as long as the world allows them to wage this war.
Zelensky stated that Russia continues to destroy Ukrainian cities and called on international partners to further coordinate efforts to protect civilians and bring peace closer.
