President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that Ukraine is open to cooperation with partners in the development of mineral resources, especially those who help in the fight against the aggressor. The president also confirmed Ukraine’s first contacts with Donald Trump’s team.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.
“We are open to the fact that all mineral resources can be developed with our partners who help us protect our land and push the enemy back with their weapons, their presence, and sanctions packages. And this is absolutely fair. I talked about this back in September when we had a meeting with President Trump in New York. I told him that we are open to investments from American companies. Because if it is all under Russian control, other countries will come in,” Zelenskiy said.
The President of Ukraine also answered a question about Ukraine’s first contacts with Donald Trump’s team. According to him, the head of the Presidential Administration, Andriy Yermak, had a conversation with Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Volz.
“We have contacts between our teams. My team had contact with Kellogg (special representative for Ukraine and Russia) yesterday,” Zelenskiy said.
