Ukraine and its allies are working together on a single peace plan that will become the result of coordinated international efforts. The statement was made by the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
“There are many media reports about so-called ‘alternative plans’ — allegedly one from the U.S., another from the EU. I want to state clearly: that is not true. There are no different plans to choose from. There is joint work on the wording, and all partners remain in constant communication,” Yermak emphasized.
According to him, the result will be a single document jointly developed by Ukraine and its partners that fully reflects Ukrainian interests. “This is not about competing initiatives, but about finding synergy — between Ukraine, the EU, the U.S., and other partners. Of course, U.S. participation is essential,” Yermak said.
He noted that the positions of Kyiv, Washington, and European leaders are aligned: any negotiations must begin with a ceasefire along the current line of contact. Yermak also praised U.S. President Donald Trump’s role as a potential mediator in the peace process: “We believe that he can help Ukraine achieve a just, sustainable peace, guaranteed by strong security assurances.”
The next meeting of the coalition of countries supporting the peace formula will take place on November 3 in an online format at the level of national security advisers. According to Yermak, the participants will aim to synchronize positions and define further steps.
The head of the Presidential Office added that Ukraine remains in constant contact with all its partners. “The war is happening here, and Ukraine is the country under attack — therefore, the final configuration of the peace plan will be determined by us. This is a matter of justice and common sense,” he concluded.
