        Yaroslava Mahuchikh Opens the 2025 Season With a Gold Medal at a Tournament in Italy

        Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh successfully opened the 2025 international season by winning gold at the Udin Jump Development tournament in Udine, Italy.

        In the final, Mahuchikh competed with titled rivals, including Euro 2021 silver medalist Maria Vukovic and U20-2022 world champion Carmen Bruus.

        Jaroslawa Mahuchikh won gold at the Udin Jump Development tournament after clearing a height of 1.94 meters. In the final competition, she was ahead of Hungary’s Lilianna Batory, who cleared 1.91 meters in her last attempt.

        In 2024, the Ukrainian set a world record in the high jump (2.10 m), won gold at the Olympics and the European Championships, and defended her Diamond League title.
