Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has called on US presidential candidate Donald Trump to help secure the release of Ukrainian military prisoners if he believes he has influence over Vladimir Putin.
Usyk addressed American host Joe Rogan, whose podcast Trump is scheduled to appear on a few days before the election.
“If Mr. President is so confident in his influence on Putin, could he immediately help free the Azovstal defenders and all Ukrainians from Russian captivity? Time is of the essence,” the boxer wrote.
