Operators from one of the Special Operations Forces units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian assault group of eight soldiers in the enemy’s rear.
This was reported by the SOF Command.
‘The Special Operations Forces group was conducting special reconnaissance behind the front line when it noticed the movement of enemy assault troops. The commander of the Special Operations Forces group quickly assessed the tactical situation and ordered the soldiers to manoeuvre,’ the report said.
After taking up a more advantageous position, the Special Operations Forces soldiers engaged the enemy with the element of surprise. During the rapid battle, the entire enemy assault group was destroyed.
‘After searching the bodies of the enemy, the Special Operations Forces operators continued to conduct special reconnaissance in this operational area without any losses,’ the military concluded.
