        Ukrainian General Staff reveals new details of strike on St. Petersburg oil terminal

        Ukraine’s General Staff has released updated information about a strike on the St. Petersburg oil terminal in Russia. According to the military, one fuel tank was destroyed, while six others and two technical overpasses were damaged.

        According to the statement, additional analysis of the June 3 strike confirmed the destruction of one storage tank at the St. Petersburg oil terminal. Six additional tanks and two technical loading structures were also damaged.

        The General Staff also reported that Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against other Russian military targets on June 3 and during the night of June 4.

        Among the targets was a Project 10410 “Svetlyak” border patrol ship operating in the Sea of Azov. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

        Other targets included a concentration area of Russian weapons and military equipment near Novoiehorivka in the Kharkiv region, a command post near Ocheretyne in the Donetsk region, an ammunition depot near Hrintal in the Donetsk region, and fuel storage facilities in Simferopol and Melitopol.

        The Ukrainian military also reported a strike on the Elastik gunpowder plant, a branch of Gefest-M LLC, in Russia’s Ryazan region. The attack reportedly caused a fire covering more than 400 square meters.

        In addition, a warehouse fire exceeding 200 square meters was confirmed at the Michurinsk Progress Plant in Russia’s Tambov region, a facility involved in manufacturing components for precision-guided weapons.

        The General Staff stated that Ukraine’s Defense Forces will continue conducting systematic operations aimed at forcing Russia to end its armed aggression against Ukraine.
