The 1142nd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From April 9 to 10, the Armed Forces repelled 149 attacks. The situation remains the most tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where 40 combat engagements took place. In the Liman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 27 attacks, while 20 and 19 engagements were recorded in the Toretsk and Kursk sectors, respectively.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched 94 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including 162 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out more than 6300 attacks, 96 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2868 kamikaze drones to defeat them.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Petrushivka, Maryine, Turya, Mala Rybytsia, Velykyi Prykil, Krasnopillia, Samotoivka, Miropilske, Ugroids in Sumy region;
- Gulyaypole in Zaporizhzhia region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamianka, and Figolivka over the past day.
Two occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault near Zahryzove and Nova Kruhlyakivka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 27 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Nadiya, Katerynivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, Nove, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka and in the directions of Zelena Dolyna, Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, the aggressor launched 10 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnekamianske, all of which were repelled.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, two firefights were registered in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Toretsk, Druzhba, Dachne, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 40 aggressor’s offensives near Kalynove, Shevchenko, Troitske, Preobrazhenka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vodiane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yelizavetivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Kotlyarivka and Bohdanivka.
Novopavlivske, Hulyaypillia, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Bahatyry and near Kostiantynopol and Rozlyv.
In the Huliaipil sector, the enemy made five unsuccessful attempts to advance in the area of Novosilka and in the direction of Shevchenko.
In the Orikhivsk sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Shcherbaky.
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 19 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 46 air strikes using 82 guided bombs, and also carried out 410 artillery attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
