        Two people killed and 27 wounded in Dnipro following Russian attack

        On the night of April 15–16, two people were killed and 27 others wounded in Dnipro as a result of an attack by Russian forces. Five of the injured are in critical condition.

        This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

        The Russians struck residential neighborhoods in Dnipro. Fires broke out in several locations, burning residential buildings, garages, and cars. High-rise buildings were damaged, including 5- and 8-story structures; a private home was partially destroyed; and an educational institution and a retirement home were also damaged.

        Among the victims are children; they received medical care and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

        People have sustained head injuries, shrapnel wounds, and acoustic trauma.
