A terrorist attack has occurred at the facility of the Turkish aerospace corporation TUSAŞ (Turkish Aviation and Space Industry), Turkish Interior Minister Ali Erlikaya said.
According to him, we are talking about the facility in the Kahramankazan neighborhood in Ankara. There are dead and wounded. According to the Turkish service CNN, at least two people were killed.
Euronews’ local TUSAŞ sources said the attack at the company’s headquarters was carried out by a suicide bomber and employees were banned from leaving their workplaces. According to the interlocutor of the publication, the shooting took place at the entrance to the building.
The Ankara Prosecutor General’s Office has launched an investigation into the attack.
