The level of trust in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy among Ukrainians has declined, according to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
52% of respondents said they trusted the president, while 39% expressed distrust. The remaining 9% were undecided.
KIIS also conducted an alternative poll with an additional answer option “hard to say”. In this case, the level of trust dropped to 45%, distrust – to 31%, and the share of those who have not decided increased to 24%.
The survey was conducted on KIIS’s own initiative on December 2-17, 2024, by telephone among 2,000 respondents over the age of 18. Under normal circumstances, the margin of error would not exceed 4.1%, but in times of war, a certain systematic deviation is added.
