On the night of 6 July (starting at 20:30 on 5 July), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 4 S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles and 157 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various decoy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
As of 08:30, air defence forces had neutralised 117 enemy Shahed-type (and other) UAVs in the north, east, south, and centre of the country. 98 were shot down by kinetic weapons, while 19 were lost to location interference or suppressed by electronic warfare.
Enemy strike UAV impacts were recorded in 19 locations, with wreckage falling in 2 other locations.
The air attack is ongoing, with new groups of “Shaheds” entering from the north.
