Russians strike Nova Poshta branch in Chuhuiv

A Nova Poshta branch in the city of Chuhuiv was damaged as a result of a massive attack, according to the company’s press service.

‘On the evening of 4 July, the enemy launched a massive attack on Ukraine. As a result of the drone strike, Nova Poshta branch No. 1 in Chuhuiv was damaged,’ the statement said.

Currently, the branch is operating in a limited mode: only deliveries from the ramp are possible, without customer access to the premises due to significant damage to the structures.

None of the employees or customers were injured — the branch was closed at the time of the strike. All parcels survived. Shipments destined for this branch are being redirected to branch No. 2.

Debris removal, assessment of the condition of the premises and initial reinforcement work are ongoing at the site. If it is safe to operate inside, the branch will resume full operation in the near future. If necessary, a mobile branch will be set up nearby.

‘There will be no delays in delivery. We are already contacting customers and will provide all the necessary information,’ the National Police assured.

Meanwhile, rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire in Chuhuiv caused by enemy UAV strikes, the State Emergency Service reported.

‘At 13:00 on 5 July, all sources of ignition were extinguished. Ninety-three rescuers and 29 units of State Emergency Service equipment, including pyrotechnics, medics and a fire train, worked at the scene,’ the report said.
