The situation in Kupiansk and its surroundings is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff.
The agency clarified that the exit from the pipeline, which the enemy attempted to use to transport personnel, is controlled by the Ukrainian military. The pipeline itself does not lead directly to the city, and three of its four lines have already been damaged and flooded.
A counter-sabotage operation is ongoing in the city, and search and strike operations are being conducted around it. In two weeks of operations, Russian losses in this direction amount to 395 people, 288 of whom are irretrievable. 265 occupiers were destroyed on the approaches to Kupiansk, and another 128 in the city area.
The General Staff emphasised that the enemy is also being captured, and their testimony will be used against the occupiers. The defensive operation in the Kupiansk direction continues.
Recall that the OSINT community DeepState reported that the Russian military used a gas pipeline to advance their groups in the Kupiansk area.
