Sweden and Denmark have signed a contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds for the supply of 205 CV9035MkIIIC infantry fighting vehicles, some of which will be transferred to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Swedish government.
The total value of the contract is SEK 25 billion. As part of the agreement:
- 115 vehicles are intended for Denmark;
- 50 machines will be purchased for Sweden to replace the equipment that the country previously transferred to Ukraine;
- 40 machines will be purchased directly for transfer to Ukraine.
The supplies to Ukraine will be financed by funds provided by Denmark and Sweden.
Ukraine has previously received 50 CV90 combat vehicles.
