Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has successfully overcome the fourth round of the Australian Open with a convincing victory over “neutral” Russian Veronika Kudermetova.
The match, which lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes, ended with a score of 6-4, 6-1 in favor of Svitolina, who was seeded 28th.
This quarterfinal appearance was Svitolina’s third at the Australian Open and 12th overall at Grand Slam tournaments.
In the next match, scheduled for January 22, the Ukrainian will meet the winner of the Elena Rybakina-Madison Keys match.
