        Russia’s massive strike on Kyiv damaged the EU delegation and the British Council

        During Russia’s night attack on Kyiv on the night of August 28, the building of the European Union delegation was damaged.

        This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

        The British Council building was also damaged: the institution has temporarily suspended visits but continues to work with Ukrainian partners remotely.

        According to him, strikes on diplomatic facilities are a direct violation of the Vienna Convention.

        Sybiga stressed that Ukraine expects a principled international response to this shelling.

        On the night of August 28, Kyiv was subjected to massive shelling with Shahed, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, including “Kinzhal” missiles. As of now, 14 people are known to have been killed and 38 injured.
