Russians hit Kherson with three air bombs

At 11:00 a.m., Russian occupation forces attacked Kherson with three air bombs. This was reported by the head of the Kherson city administration Roman Mrochko.

“One of the bombs hit a private house, destroying it. A man and a woman were pulled out of the rubble and taken away by an ambulance. The 85-year-old victim has a contusion, explosive and closed head injury. Another victim has an acute stress reaction,” said Mrochko.

The enemy airstrike also caused numerous fires, and hit an enterprise and a kindergarten.

Later it became known about two more victims – men aged 52 and 62 were on the street when the bomb hit.

“The 62-year-old victim was treated by medics on the spot. He has an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his right hand. The 52-year-old wounded was taken to hospital. The man has facial abrasions, explosive and closed head injuries,” added Mrochko.

In addition, in the morning of January 9, Russian troops fired on Kherson region with drones and artillery, the Office of the Prosecutor General reports.

  • In Beryslav, a 54-year-old man was killed by drone strikes, and three other civilians were injured.
  • In the village of Nizlumne, a 60-year-old woman was killed by artillery fire.
