On the night of December 25, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using Shahed kamikaze drones, Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS and Kalibr bombers from the Black Sea.
According to Ukrenergo, consumption restrictions have been imposed in connection with the missile attack.
Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko confirmed the attacks on the energy sector: “The enemy is attacking the energy sector on a massive scale again. The transmission system operator is taking the necessary measures to limit consumption to minimize the negative consequences for the power system.”
Russia’s previous massive strikes – mainly against the energy sector – took place on December 13 and November 28.
On December 20, the Russians struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles, and on the evening of December 24, they destroyed a residential building in Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile.
