On Thursday, 10 July, fighter jets were scrambled in Lithuania due to an unknown drone flying in from Belarus.
According to the Lithuanian Armed Forces and the BNS agency, a violation of airspace was recorded. At first, it was assumed that an Iranian Shahed-type drone had flown over the country’s territory, but later border guards found out that it was a small (relative to the Shahed) UAV made of plywood and foam.
The UAV crashed about a kilometre from the border with Belarus, near the closed Shumsk checkpoint.

According to the photo, it is a Russian Gerbera drone. Such UAVs are usually used as decoys, but recently there have been cases of their use with combat payloads.
