FP-1 drones flew more than 3,200 km and struck the Novy Urengoy condensate preparation plant in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Fire Point said the mission set a new range record for this type of drone.

The target was one of Russia’s largest facilities for preparing gas condensate for transportation. The plant supplies feedstock for further processing into fuel and other petroleum products.
Its design capacity is up to 19.5 million tonnes of raw material per year.
According to the company, a strike was recorded on the plant’s premises. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Fire Point said further details of the attack would be released later.
