Russian forces have received orders to intensify drone strikes on civilian infrastructure and vehicles in Ukraine’s frontline areas and border regions. The command ordered attacks on gas stations, trucks, buses and passenger cars to be stepped up.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
According to intelligence, the orders are to be carried out by the Rubicon advanced unmanned systems centre and external pilots from regular units of the Russian army.
Real-time-controlled drones, including Molniya-1, Molniya-2, Geran-Seeker, Gerbera-Seeker, Lancet, V2U and other similar unmanned systems, are expected to be used to locate and strike targets.
“The order by Russia’s leaders to intensify drone terror in frontline regions poses a real threat to Ukraine’s civilian population. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine urges citizens to remain vigilant and respond to air-raid alerts,” the statement said.
